Auto Join All

ABOUT THE TOOL:

The below link is for a newly created add-in for Joining… we all know that whenever we create a new slab, beams or columns they don’t get joined unless we join each. This will lead, whenever I get a new section I have to join all the elements that were not joined to make the drawing more presentable. So basically I have done two methods, the first where you can Join All elements intersecting the selected element and the second is Auto Join All Elements in the project, finally the UnJoin All. How it Works

 

After Navigating to Geometry Tab in RAAPS

a window will appear seeking what do you want to join.

select whatever you like. but Note, selecting walls means to join any element (floor, column, beam…etc) intersecting with any wall type in the project.

press Proceed button.

A meter will appear to help the user realize what is going on.

Same procedural of Auto Join All is applied to UnJoin All. it is only to change the switch button.

Cure Joints
One Valuable feedback can change the entire direction. I received a request if possible to include a feature to resolve the warning message “Elements are joints but do not intersect”. Well here you go.

1. got to warning dialog and export the report.
2. click on the cure button and import this file.
3. All warnings will be removed and cured from your file.
